Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 266-91, reports as follows :
Resolution 266-91 proposes to transfer/appropriate $150, 000 out and
from the Interest on G.O. Bonds account (010-801-5803 . 01-341) and
credit same to the Transfer to Other Funds account
(010-801-5801 . 01-341) in the General Fund. Said funds will be
transferred to the Hawaii County Housing Agency.
Your Committee understands that after transferring the $150, 000 out
of the General Obligation Bonds Interest Account, a balance of
$94 , 777 will still exist .
Your Committee is aware that Bill 381 amends the Hawaii County
Housing Agency Fund by accepting the transfer of $150, 000 as
revenues and appropriating same into the Operating Reserve
Contingency account.
Your Committee is also aware that said transfer is a reimbursement
of funds to the HCHA as per an earlier understanding that said funds
would be returned to the Agency.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No. 266-91 and recommends its adoption.
