Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Anita "Anika" L. Glass to the South Kohala
Community Development Plan Action Committee. Ms Glass is a 10-year resident of
Hawaii. She is the founder of Malama Waikoloa Nightingales - an organization
responsible for saving over 600 donkeys from starvation and keeping them off County
roads, a member of the South Kohala Traffic Safety Committee, a member of the
Daughters of American Revolution — Hawaii Loa Chapter, and a former member of the
Waikoloa Village Association Communications Committee. Ms. Glass states that she is
a Democrat. If confirmed, she will serve a term to end four years from the day that she
is sworn in.
