RESOLUTION
NAMING OF A STREET IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt a street name of an
unnamed roadway in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii
County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of February 19, 1999, approved
the name for a certain unnamed roadway within the Kaupakuea Homesteads, Kaupakuea, South
Hilo, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadway as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
"Kaupakuea Homestead Road" - after the ahupuaa and homestead.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this day of 1999.
