Mote: Proposed projects for 1.5 million Boiidhigh1ighted.
This comprehensive strategy will implement the Hilo Bay Recreation Complex, which encompasses
the region from Hilo Harbor to the Wailuku River. This strategy will include the development of the
necessary infrastructure and facilities to enhance and emphasize the cultural and natural resources of
the area to serve as the gateway to the city of Hilo.
Proposed Improvement Projects
It is intended that a matrix of information regarding these projects be developed to include cost
estimates, schedule for implementation with specific tasks identified, prioritization of projects,
identification of government agencies with permitting authority, and identification of public and
community interest group involvement
AREA "A"
1. Hilo Bayfront Beach Park: a) Parking improvements (under construction)
