RESOLUTION NO. 487 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF TWO EMERGENCY
CALL BOXES IN KEHENA.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 398-14, which was adopted on May 1, 2014, transferred
Contingency Relief funds of$25,000 to the Civil Defense Agency for the purchase and
installation of two emeregency call boxes in Kehena; and
WHEREAS, two new emergency call boxes have been purchased and installed in
accordance with Resolution No. 398-14; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance pays expenses for operations and maintenance
for certain emergency call boxes; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to assist with expenses related to the
maintenance of these two emergency call boxes; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Department of Finance for the maintenance of two emergency call boxes in Kehena; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Civil Defense Administrator and the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
