ASSISTANCE PAYMENT CONTRACT (AGREEMENT) WITH THE PROPERTY
OWNER OF THE PROJECT SELECTED FOR THE SECTION 8 PROJECT-
BASED VOUCHER PROGRAM (PBV PROGRAM) AS OFFERED THROUGH A
PUBLIC NOTICE DATED APRIL 13, 20, AND 27, 2014
The Office of Housing and Community Development has selected Nā Kahua Hale O
Ulu Wini, Kamakana Villages (Senior Affordable Housing Community and Multi
Family Affordable Housing Community), and Mohouli Heights Neighborhood
Residence, Phase II. This program makes rental housing units available to
low-income families.

PURSUANT TO HAWAI‘I REVISED STATUTES 46-7, FOR A GRANT FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I’S LITTLE FIRE ANT CONTROL PROGRAM
Agreement accepts $175,000 from HISC to hire up to three employees and provide
them with equipment and materials to control the fire ant at Parks and Recreation
Department facilities.

JUNE 30, 2015

Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
($2 million). Funds would be used to install new streetlights and to upgrade existing
streetlights island-wide.

JULY 1, 2014, TO JUNE 30, 2015
Adds the Public Works Signals, New and Upgrades project for $1 million to the
Capital Budget. Funds for the project shall be provided from General Obligation
Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($1 million).
Funds would be used to install new traffic and pedestrian signals, flashing lights, and
other traffic related devices.

Adds the Public Works Painted Church Road Safety Improvements project for
$142,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for the project shall be provided from General
Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
($142,000). Funds would be used to increase intersection site distance, eliminate thru
traffic stop signs, and relocate utilities.
