RESOLUTION NO. 494 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPOPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE INTERIOR/EXTERIOR LIGHTING
FOR THE WEST HAWAII CIVIC CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Office of Management for the County of Hawai`i has identified the
need for additional interior/exterior lighting at the West Hawai`i Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, the interior/exterior lighting would enhance the work environment as well
as improve safety; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to
the Office of Management to purchase interior/exterior lighting for the West Hawaii Civic
Center; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

APPROPRIATION: $2,500
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,500
CREDITED TO:
010.111.5111.02 Office of Management $2,500

(WHCC Interior/Exterior Lighting)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Managing Director, Director of Public Works, and the Director of Finance and
that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance
with the terms of this resolution.
