RESOLUTION NO. 495 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR TRANSPORTATION TO ATTEND FAMILY
VIOLENCE INTERAGENCY COMMITTEE EVENTS.
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Family Violence Interagency
Committee brings together nonprofit aid organizations, government, and concerned members of
the public to find positive solutions for the family violence epidemic in Hawai`i County; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed for the Family Violence Interagency Committee to assist
with transportation expenses for persons to attend events including the Family Violence Summit,
the Domestic Violence Family Peace Walk and Vigil, and the `Ghana Fun Day; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to assist with transportation expenses for events organized
by the Family Violence Interagency Committee; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
