RESOLUTION NO. 86 99
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY CONTRIBUTION OF FIVE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) FROM THE HILO DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association, whose President is Paul Rosendahl, has
donated five hundred dollars ($500.00) to the Department of Public Works to be used for the removal of the
parking meter heads within the areas affected by the parking meter moratorium set forth in
Resolution No. 288-98; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Department of Public Works
is authorized to accept the monetary contribution of five hundred dollars ($500.00) from the Hilo Downtown
Improvement Association.
