SUBJECT: Presenting a Certificate of Recognition at the Council Meeting on September 5, 2014
I am requesting your approval to present one certificate at the Council Meeting scheduled for
September 5, 2014,for Arthur Varady. On June 20, 2014, Mr. Varady performed CPR on County of
Hawai'i Community Services Worker at the Pahoa Senior Center, until emergency medical services
arrived onsite.
This presentation is expected to take approximately 10 minutes at the Council meeting on September 5,
2014. Mr.Varady will be present to accept the certificate at the Council meeting.
