I am Dave Kajihiro, Deputy Chief of Administrative Operations, of the Honolulu Police
Department. I am writing this letter in support of Ms. Molly Stebbins for her appointment
to Corporation Counsel for the Hawaii County.
I have known and worked with Ms. Stebbins for the past three years in her role as a
deputy corporation counsel for the Hawaii County Police Department. Together we
have addressed issues involving employment laws, union contracts, firearms, and other
criminal statutes. Ms. Stebbins is well versed in these areas and willingly shares her
knowledge with others. She is a hard worker, determined to do what is right, and gets
along well with others.
Ms. Stebbins is well respected by her colleagues and will be an excellent selection for
Hawaii County's Corporation Counsel.
