Re: Nomination of Molly Stebbins as Corporation Counsel
Dear Chair Yoshimoto,
This letter is in support of Ms. Molly Stebbins for the position of Hawaii County's Corporation
Counsel.
As the Chief of Police for the County of Kauai, for the past few years I have had the distinct
honor and pleasure of working with Ms. Stebbins on many law enforcement matters.
I was impressed by her professionalism, and extended knowledge on issues frequently faced by
the police departments throughout the State of Hawaii. But that is only part of her redeeming
quality; she also demonstrates the core values that are most important to a successful person.
I am positive that the appointment of Ms. Stebbins would not only enhance the effectiveness of
the Corporation Counsel, but she would also provide the highest level of leadership.
