Aloha Honorable County Council Representatives,
The County's own Solid Waste Advisory Committee's conclusion that an incinerator
or waste-to-energy plant is unsuited for the Big Island, was a unanimous conclusion
of the 24 diverse individuals who served on your County committee with the
responsibility to assess its viability. Let's kokua their consensus by supporting their
fiscal wisdom and head toward a goal of realistically promoting recycling and a
reduction of waste in a sustainable way for our people and our aina.
