As an Active CERT and ARC volunteer and as one who has been active with our PCDP transportation
theme, I encourage you to support the South Lauko connectivity project. This project is in alignment
with the PCDP plan for connectivity.
Fern Acres subdivision is in a very compromising situation in the event of a wildfire or other emergency
response situation if South Kulani Road becomes unusable. Even if it is useable, having one road in and
out of a subdivision such as Fern Acres is compromising.
The South Lauko road connection will address this concern in part. It will also create a more user
friendly safer route for school children who attend Mountain View school.
This is a first step in the implementation of our PCDP connectivity goal!!!
