Nomination of Molly Stebbins as Corporation C2unss
The Hawaii Government Employees Association, AFSCME Local 152, AFL-CIO
strongly supports the nomination and appointment of Ms. Molly Stebbins as
Corporation Counsel for the County of Hawaii.
Ms. Stebbins is a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst,
where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Political Economy
and the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, William S. Richardson School of Law,
where she served as the Team Captain of the Moot Court Team and received
honors as the Best Oralist in Appellate Advocacy. Her educational background
coupled with her prior employment-as an intern to Judge Acoba, Law Clerk to
Judge Wilson, and currently, as a Deputy Corporation Counsel for the County,
has provided Ms. Stebbins with broad knowledge and understanding of the
judicial system and the various challenges that the County may face. She is
committed to improving our community and has served as the East Hawai'i
Director for the Hawaii State Bar Association's Young Lawyer Division and as the
Hawai'i Island Coordinator for the State High School Mock Trial Competition.
We are confident that Ms. Stebbins will diligently represent the people of the Big
Island and we respectfully request your support of her appointment.
