SUBJECT: Discussion on Primary Election problems and plans for the General
Election to prevent another election disruption.
This is a request for the County Clerk and Elections Program Administrator(Supervisor) to
explain the Primary Election problems and what they are doing to prevent such problems in the
future.
Additionally, the County Clerk should be prepared to present the written emergency plan for the
General Election in view of the ongoing lava flow and any potential future storms.
Please place this communication on the Committee on Public Safety & Mass Transit agenda as
soon as possible. Please allow 60 minutes for discussion.
