RESOLUTION NO. 536 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE WREATHS TO BE PLACED AT
THE WEST HAWAII VETERANS CEMETERY FOR NATIONAL WREATHS
ACROSS AMERICA DAY ON DECEMBER 13, 2014.
WHEREAS, the mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor
those that serve, and teach the value of freedom, by coordinating the laying of wreaths at
veterans' cemeteries across the United States on December 13, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol, Kona Composite Squadron, serves as
the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force and has been tasked with the laying
of wreaths upon each grave at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery for National Wreaths Across
America Day; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase wreaths for laying at West Hawaii Veterans
Cemetery on December 13, 2014; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $2,450
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5503.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,450

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
