SUBJECT: A Resolution Strongly Urging the Director of the Department of
Environmental Management to Increase the Diversion Rate of Solid Waste as
Recommended in the 2009 Zero Waste Implementation Plan for the County of
Hawai`i.
Attached is a resolution regarding landfill diversion.
I am requesting this resolution be placed on the appropriate agenda for the September 30,
2014, Committee meetings.
