RESOLUTION NO. 560 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR A FIRE HYDRANT FOR THE AHUALOA
COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has identified the need for a second fire
hydrant in the Ahualoa community; and
WHEREAS, this fire hydrant will provide the community with additional access to water
to help fill tanker trucks in fire emergencies; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to
the Department of Public Works for the purchase of one (1) fire hydrant; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $15,000
CREDITED TO:
010.173.5173.02 Department of Public Works $15,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance, Director of Public Works, the Manager-Chief Engineer of
the Department of Water Supply, and the Fire Chief and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
