RESOLUTION NO. 561 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT AT THE HILO
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has identified the need for a golf
lift and utility golf cart for course and fleet maintenance at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has deferred the purchasing of new
equipment due to budget constraints, but finds it difficult to maintain its existing equipment to
keep the greens and equipment in optimal condition for the benefit of patrons of the course; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of a golf lift ($8,499.95) and utility golf
cart ($10,911.39); now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
