Applicant: Kona Scenic Land, Inc.

This is to acknowledge receipt of your second annual progress
report in compliance with Condition N of the above-referenced
Ordinance. By copy of this letter, we are forwarding your report
to the County Council and Planning Commission for their
information. Thank you for your cooperation in complying with
the annual report requirement.
As discussed with you earlier, Condition K of the above-
referenced ordinance requires that a solid waste management plan
be prepared prior to submitting plans for plan approval or
subdivision review, whichever comes first. It is our
understanding that you are working with the Department of Public
Works in developing the solid waste management plan.
Your next annual progress report will be due on or before
December 30, 1997. Should you have any questions regarding this
matter, please feel free to contact Phyllis Fujimoto or Susan
Gagorik of this department at 961-8288.

In accordance with Section 2, Condition N of Ordinance No. 95-1, the following is our
second Annual Progress Report for the subject A-la subdivision project:
Condition B - We submitted a revised Preliminary Subdivision Plat Map on April 1, 1996,
and received Tentative Approval of the revised preliminary Plat Map from the Planning
Department on June 13, 1996.
Conditions H & I - We are preparing preliminary construction drawings for the subdivision.
