Re: County of Hawaii Resolution #'s 500 14 & 501 14
Tom and Gretchen Lawson residing in district 8 of north Kona are in full support of resolution 500-14
and 501-14 that call for truth in labeling of Kona coffee. As it stands now the public is not informed
when the percentage of Kona Coffee is blended with inferior coffees.has All coffee
heritage of ocoffeo aee
blend without the percentages being indicated on the label. Kona proud
enjoy s the distinction of superiority. It is a major benefit to the Kona area and an

economic boon to the coffee farmer.
