BILL NO. 306
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 3, SECTION 24 -275,
SCHEDULE 23 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED),
RELATING TO BUS STOPS AND PUBLIC ROAD TAXI STANDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed base on a request to provide a bus stop
within this area of downtown Hilo.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 3, section 24 -275, schedule 23.
Bus stop locations, paragraph (c), South Hilo, is amended by adding the following new item and
renumbering as required:
"O Shipman Street, adjacent to parcels 2 -3- 004:003 and 2 -3- 004.004 from 8.00 a.m. to
12:00 p.m., on school days."
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring
need not be included.
SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application,
and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
