Re: Sunrise Ridge II, Dedication of Improvements to County
Dear Council Members,
As a co-owner with my daughter of two lots in the Sunrise Ridge II subdivision, we
have been apprised of the present status of the dedication of the subdivision improvements
of Sunrise Ridge II to the County of Hawaii.
We understand that you were also apprised of the status by Mr. Gary Hiyoto,
President of the Sunrise Ridge II Homeowners Association. Accordingly, I will not recite
the same reasons over again.
I would like, however, to urge you to favorably consider the acceptance of the
improvements for the reasons outlined by Mr. Hiyoto. The current lot owners of Sunrise
Ridge II are victims of the circumstances leading to the current situation. I might add that
this is through no act of their own, but rather, through acts of others, including but not
limited to, the developer and the County.
