Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 546-14, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 546-14, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via
Communication No. 1074 dated September 26, 2014, authorizes the payment of funds of a later
fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease for mobile data terminals to be
used by the Hawaii County Police Department.
The resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year lease agreement for 100 mobile data
terminals at an approximate cost of $180,000 per year.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 546-14, and
recommends its adoption.
