SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
KINOOLE STREET - FREIGHT LOADING ZONE
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6. Loading Zones,
Section 24-288, Schedule 36. Freight loading zones, Paragraph (c) South Hilo be
amended by deleting existing item 19 and renumbering as required:

an extending-fovty-feet-gin-the--Ptea-direction
This amendment is being proposed based on a request to remove the subject freight
loading zone, which is no longer used by the current area residents and businesses.
Eliminating the loading zone will also have the added benefit of providing more space
for much-needed on-street parking.
