Re: Operating Budget
A resolution is being introduced by the Council to transfer $10,000 from the Clerk-Council
Services Contingency Relief account (District 6) to the Solid Waste Fund. These funds will be
used to provide a grant to the Cooper Center Council. These funds will be used to provide a
10,000 gallon water tank on a concrete slab and a storage shed for equipment at the Volcano
transfer station. Their purpose is for Coqui frog eradication and for use by the Volcano Volunteer
Fire Department.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $10,000
to the Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division's Landfills OCE
account within the Solid Waste Fund.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Bobby Jean Leithead Todd, Director of
the Department of Environmental Management at 981-8083.
