COUNTY OF HAWAII :. 4‘�" !:• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> of a o: J <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 585 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR PLANS AND DESIGN OF PHOTOVOLTAIC <br /> SYSTEMS AT KAMANA SENIOR CENTER AND AUNTY SALLY KALEOHANO'S <br /> LUAU HALE. <br /> WHEREAS, Kamana Senior Center ("Kamana") and Aunty Sally Kaleohano's Luau <br /> Hale ("Aunty Sally's") are two of the Department of Parks and Recreation's("P&R") most <br /> heavily used facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, P&R strives to provide facilities for the public to use that are comfortable, <br /> clean and easy to access; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kamana and Aunty Sally's are used year-round, and are hot and stuffy and <br /> uncomfortable during most of the year, depending on weather conditions; and <br /> WHEREAS, P&R would like to take advantage of modern technology and is considering <br /> installing photovoltaic systems in these two heavily-used facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Parks and Recreation for the plans and designs for photovoltaic systems at <br /> these two facilities; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC - Contingency Relief $7,000 <br />
