SUBJECT: Discussion with Hawai`i Island members of the Hawai`i State Legislature
on legislation for the upcoming Legislative Session.
I am requesting at least one hour for a discussion with members of the Hawai`i State
Legislature representing Hawai`i Island. I have sent all members of the delegation an
invitation to this meeting. The two topics of discussion are:
What is each legislator's highest priority bill for the upcoming legislative session?
In what way, or ways, can the Council collectively support bills and initiatives
during the legislative session?
Council Members will then have the opportunity to submit legislation to the
delegation for introduction to the upcoming legislative session.
Please place this item on the Governmental Relations and Economic Development
Committee meeting agenda for November 18, 2014, at 9:00 a.m.
