Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution
No. 564-14 reports as follows:
Resolution No. 564-14, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Joseph K. Kamelamela, via
Communication No. 1107, dated October 15, 2014, accepts the grant of easement D-2 for
drainage and slope purposes needed for the Kapi`olani Street Extension, Job No. E-4039, situate
at Waiakea, South Hilo, Island of Hawai`i, Hawai`i, being a portion of tax map key: (3) 2-4-056-
:021 (por.) from the State of Hawai`i, Hawai`i Public Housing Authority.
The State of Hawai`i, Hawai`i Public Housing Authority is desirous of granting the County of
Hawai`i the perpetual easement as described in Exhibit"2" attached to the resolution between
the University of Hawai`i at Hilo and downtown Hilo.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Resolution No. 564-14, and recommends its adoption.
