Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 306
reports as follows:
Bill No. 306, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. Lee, via Communication No.
1102 dated September 19, 2014, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3, Section 24-275,
Schedule 23 (Bus stop locations), subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as amended) by adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) Shipman Street, adjacent to parcels 2-3-004:003 and 2-3-004:004, from 8:00 a.m. to
12:00 p.m., on school days.
This amendment will provide a bus stop on Shipman Street from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on
school days.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill No. 306, and recommends it passage on first reading.
