Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 308
reports as follows:
Bill No. 308, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. Lee, via Communication No.
1104 dated September 19, 2014, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288,
Schedule 36 (Freight loading zones), subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code
1983 (2005 Edition, as amended)by deleting existing item:
extending forty feet in the Puna direction.
This amendment removes a freight loading zone which is no longer used by the current area
residents and businesses.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill No. 308, and recommends it passage on first reading.
