ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS BILLS FOR ORDINANCES Bill 317: AMENDS CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 7, SECTION 19-57 AND ADDS A NEW SECTION TO CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 8 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS FROM REAL PROPERTY TAX BY WAY OF DEDICATION OF LAND FOR AGRICULTURAL USE Phases out the non-dedicated agricultural use assessment program and replaces that program with a short-term dedicated agricultural use assessment program. Funds for the project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($9.6 million). Funds would be used to plan and construct an Office of the Prosecuting Attorney building on the grounds of the West Hawaii Civic Center.
