RESOLUTION NO. 606 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO
PURCHASING AND INSTALLING TWO -6' BENCHES ADJACENT TO THE A.J.
WATT PLAYGROUND IN MOUNTAIN VIEW.
WHEREAS, the Queen Lili`uokalani Children's Center has identified the need for
benches to be installed near the A.J. Watt Playground located in Mountain View; and
WHEREAS, the purchase and installment of two -6' benches, with an ADA accessible
slab and route from an existing walkway, were in the Department of Parks and Recreation's
original plan for the A.J. Watt Playground project; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has deferred the purchasing and
installation of benches due to costs exceeding funds available; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to assist with expenses related to purchasing and
installing two -6' benches adjacent to the A.J. Watt Playground in Mountain View; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
