Resolution NO. 21.8
WHEREAS, a portion of the Old Government Road located at Keauhou
Bay, North Kona, Hawaii has not been abandoned; and
WHEREAS, said portion of roadway is no longer of any use to the
County of Hawaii;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that a portion of the Old Government Road located at Keauhou Bay
North Kona, Hawaii, as delineated in red on the map attached hereto and
marked Exhibit A, be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway on
condition that the abandonment shall become effective upon the completion
of the requirements pursuant to the Planning Department's PUD Permit No.
9 and shall be subject to the submittal and acceptance of the following
documents:
a. That Bishop Estate shall dedicate that portion of the present
roadway north of the state wharf deeded by Lyman Perry -Fisk to Bishop
Estate on May 7, 1965 by deed recorded in Book 5055, Page 349 of the
Bureau of Conveyances, to the Counts of Hwwaii.
b. That Bishop Estate shall dedicate additional right-of-way as
necessary on the north and south approaches to Keauhou Bay to the County
of Hawaii to conform to County Planning Department's requirements pursuant

to PUD Permit No. 9.
c. That Bishop Estate shall quitclaim its reversionary interest
under Bishop Estate deed dated December 31, 1947, to the County of Hawaii
(County Clerk File No. 619).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Bishop Estate, Kameha-
meha Development Corporation, Department of Land and Natural Resources,
State Department of Transportation (Harbors Division), and to the Department
of Public Works of the County of Hawaii.

Resolution
WHEREAS, a new road, known commonly as the Kaleopapa Road, has been con-
structed in Keauhou, North Kona, County and State of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, a road remnant of the beach road known as the Old Beach Road to
Honalo is no longer of any use to the County of Hawaii as a public roadway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the road remnant of the Old Beach Road to Honalo located in Keauhou, North Kona,
Hawaii, as delineated in red on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit B,
be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed
to forward a copy of this resolution to the Kamehameha Development Corporation,
Bernice P. Bishop Estates, Department of Land and Natural Resources of the
State of Hawaii, and the Department of Public Works of the County of Hawaii.

Situate at Keauhou 2, North Kona, Hawaii, Hawaii
Beginning at the Southeast corner of this parcel of land and
on the Westerly side of Kaleopapa Road, the coordinates of said point
of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station
"Keauhou Coast" being 2319.78 feet North and 1405.42 feet East, and
running thence by azimuths measured clockwise from true South:
1. 660 37' 30" 25.63 feet along the remainder of R. P.
