BILL NO. 3
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 3, SECTION 24-
275.1, SCHEDULE 23.1 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS
AMENDED), RELATING TO NEW PUBLIC ROAD TAXI STAND LOCATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed as part of a request by the Hawaii
Police Department to provide taxi parking in this area of Kona.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 3, section 24- 275.1, schedule 23.1.
Public road taxi stand locations, paragraph (f) Kona, is amended by adding new item and
renumbering as required:
"O Ali`i Drive, east (Mauka) side in the curb cut -out fronting parcels 7 -5- 009.028
and 7 -5- 009:043, from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. each day_."
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring
need not be included.
SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application,
and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
