My message to the Committee:
Aloha Chair Wille and Committee Members,
I support Bill 318 protecting Hawaii's reef wildlife from harmful
aquarium trade starvation and insufficient water volume during
shipping.
We can see aquarium gatherers off the cliffs in Milolii. The tangs
have gone from plentiful to rare. I understand that everyone needs to
make a living. This bill is a thoughtful way to allow the aquarium
trade to continue while addressing over harvesting of fish.
