Re: Bill 30 (Draft 2) Amendment to the Hawaii County Code
1983, Relating to Informal Advisory Opinions by the
Board of Ethics
Pursuant to the request of Legislative Aide Liana Cox, we
have amended Bill 30 to delete subsection (3) on pages 3 and 4,
which would have allowed a person charged with a petition deemed
to be frivolous by the Board of Ethics to recover attorney's
fees and costs, incurred in defending against the petition, from
the person who filed the petition.
