My message to the Committee:
Aloha Chair Wille and Committee Members,
I support Bill 318 protecting Hawaii's reef wildlife from harmful
aquarium trade starvation and insufficient water volume during
shipping.
I believe our reef wildlife should stay on the reef, and though I
oppose the aquarium trade, any measures that mitigate the impact of
the trade on our marine resources are a step in the right direction.
I work in the dive industry and depend on a vibrant, fish -filled
underwater environment for my livelihood.
