We at Hawaii Winter Baseball would like to make a presentation before the Hawaii County
Council on the economic and social impact of Hawaii Winter Baseball to the community of the
Island of Hawaii.
As you know we have a team established in Hilo, the Hilo Stars and we have been looking to
place a team in Kona for our 1997 season. We feel that we can bring value to the community
that we operate in as well as to the State of Hawaii in providing jobs to its people by attracting
east and west bound visitors.
