Subject - Bill 318 Aquarium fish shipping rules
Thank you for bringing this bill forward. Though minimal at least it
is a start. The current shipping method has been well documented as
hazardous to the fish with an extremely high death rate. This means
more fish will be caught to replace those orders, thus more loss for
our reefs.
Perhaps in the past we may not have been aware of how serious the
situation is but now we know. There is absolutely no reason to not
protect these animals that cannot help themselves. I find it's sad
that we haven't done something before now. Please pass this
legislation, we are counting on all of you.
