Using and ESD is a choice for the user but not for the innocent bystander who inhales ESD aerosol as I have twice. There is peer- reviewed and evidenced -based research that ESD's do not emit harmless vapor. I have experienced it first -hand when a person riding next to me in a golf cart exhaled an ECig and I accidentally inhaled the vapor, and developed a full -blown asthma attack after not having had one in over a year and a half. I experienced another incident while at the airport when passing by a person at the end of the crosswalk who was smoking from a 6 -inch vaporizer who turned and exhaled directly at me causing me to hold my breath and keep walking, fearing that I would have another asthma attack. I have no idea what he was smoking in there either as they can load even crystal meth into them. I also worry about Eco damage to our parks & beaches. Because of the unknown issues to our health, beach and parks eco damage, and children modeling after their elders, I am wholeheartedly in support of Bill 302. We are setting the example for the generations behind us. Simply saying, as some Ecig users do, that it is better than smoking real cigarettes is naive. We don't want to be the generation who supported something with so many negatives to our striving for a healthy Big Island society. Our hospitals are running over with health issues for the elderly. We need to set our children up to be healthier longer. We already have issues to our healthy air with the vog, do we really need to test our lungs even further? I ask for your wholehearted support in voting for Bill 3021 Thank you. Kindest regards with warmest Aloha, Lau*- ct,(uti Laura Guluzzy, M.A. Gerontologist
