Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year, for a
new multi -year lease agreement of one copy machine for the Department of Parks and
Recreation. The copier being replaced is over fourteen years old, does not function properly and
is obsolete. The estimated lease cost is approximately $240 per month.

To enter into a multi -year lease agreement for five (5) years for one (1) copy machine for the Recreation
Division Hoolulu Complex Office.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The lease on the copier currently in use has expired. The present machine is over 14 years old and is
constantly needing repairs which causes many non - operational periods. The Department of Parks &
Recreation, Recreation Divison would like to replace the current lease at the Recreation Division Hoolulu
Complex Office.
The Department is anticipating a monthly lease for the machine of no more than $240.00 per month which
includes 5,000 copies.
