Pursuant to Section 92- 5(a)(4), Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, we request
attorney - client confidential discussion in executive session to consult with the County Council
on questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities
regarding the above - entitled matter, a civil rights lawsuit filed on September 8, 2014. We ask
that this case be placed on the Council's January 7, 2015 agenda to discuss a possible settlement.
