My message to the Committee: Aloha Chair Wille and Committee Members,
I support Bill 318 protecting Hawaii's reef wildlife from harmful
aquarium trade starvation and insufficient water volume during
shipping.
Our responsibility is to protect reef wildlife (and all wildlife).
Practices that contribute to the wanton loss of wildlife should be
stopped or highly restricted. This bill allows for more regulated
practices that will reduce the loss of these precious wildlife
species. It is a simple matter recognizing what will happen to
Hawaii's reef wildlife if we, as intelligent and thoughtful
creatures, do not take action.
