My message to the Committee: Aloha Chair Wille and Committee Members,
Mahalo for the opportunity!
I support Bill 318 protecting Hawaii's reef wildlife from harmful
aquarium trade starvation and insufficient water volume during
shipping.
Our community opposes aquarium fish collecting. This bill will provide
needed county oversight of the trade. Aquarium fish collecting is
harmful to our community which depends on the ocean resources for
sustenance.
