A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2015 HAWAII ISLAND WOMEN'S
LEADERSHIP FORUM.
WHEREAS, the purpose of the 2015 Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum is to
advance and celebrate the value of women in our society, cultivate relationships for networking,
and develop leaders locally; and
WHEREAS, this event will take place on April 24, 2015, at the Hilton Waikoloa
Village; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney oversees the Committee on the
Status of Women, and one of the goals of this Committee is to promote women's participation in
public and private sectors; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney would like to support the 2015
Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum in hopes of advancing women through knowledge,
strength, and community; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for promotional and educational materials and supplies
for the 2015 Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $2,500
CREDITED TO:
010.271.5271.20 Office of the Prosecuting Attorney $2,500

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
