COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 305 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 15 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24 -279, <br />SCHEDULE 27 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br />RELATING TO PARKING ON PAVEMENT PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on a request to restrict parking in <br />the subject areas due to people parking and encroaching into the travel way. This ordinance will <br />allow parking where there is sufficient unpaved shoulder width and will prohibit parking in all other <br />instances. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24 -279, schedule 27. <br />Parking on pavement prohibited at all times, paragraph (0, Kona, is amended by adding the <br />following new items and renumbering as required: <br />Marlin Road. <br />Ono Road." <br />SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br />need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br />to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br />and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
