JMtrOf it, <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />>t os•N.e <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION NOMINATING A REPRESENTATIVE TO SERVE AS A DIRECTOR <br />ON THE WESTERN INTERSTATE REGION BOARD OF DIRECTORS. <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC) is a nonprofit <br />corporation comprised of members of the four county councils of the State of Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, each county council represented on HSAC is a member of the National <br />Association of Counties (NACo) and the Western Interstate Region (WIR), an organization <br />comprised of western counties that is affiliated with NACo; and <br />WHEREAS, HSAC bylaws allow the nomination of a Director to serve on the WIR <br />Board of Directors; and <br />WHEREAS, Council Member Danny Pakeka, as the alternate represenative of HSAC, is <br />eligible to serve as a Director on the Western Interstate Region Board of Directors; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Council Member Danny Pakeka, is hereby nominated to serve as a Director on the Western <br />Interstate Region Board of Directors; and <br />
