A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2015 HAWAII ISLAND WOMEN'S
LEADERSHIP FORUM.
WHEREAS, the purpose of the 2015 Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum is to
support, encourage, and nurture women while celebrating the vital role they play in our society;
and
WHEREAS, the 2015 Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum will take place on
April 24, 2015, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney oversees the Committee on the
Status of Women, and one of the goals of this Committee is to promote women's participation in
public and private sectors; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney would like to support the 2015
Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for educational materials and supplies for the 2015
Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
